Kari is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian and holds a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Public Health from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Kennesaw State University. She has over ten years of experience in the fitness and nutrition field, working with several corporate clients and many community sites delivering wellness programs and providing nutrition guidance.
Kari sees clients in our nutrition counseling office. Her specialty is family nutrition. She works with both children and adults in weight management, diabetes, food allergies, and sports nutrition. She is also increasingly working with pre- and postnatal mothers, counseling women with gestational diabetes or educating mothers on healthy nutrition for their families. Aside from nutrition, she also has taught Mom and Baby fitness classes, yoga, and Pilates.
Kari’s passion is empowering people to take steps toward improving their lifestyle for themselves and their family! Her approach to wellness and nutrition is practical, yet holistic.
Some of Kari’s favorite things to do are hanging out with her husband and little girl, purchasing locally grown foods at her local Farmers Market, cooking, hiking, yoga, and traveling.
